What Is a Quad Seal (Quadro) Pouch?
Quadro is a high-capacity flexible format with four-corner seals and side gussets that form a stable rectangular shape. It is particularly effective for 1 kg to 15 kg applications where stacking stability and transport reliability matter.
Technical Structure and Correct Material Selection
- PET/PE: Balanced cost-performance for dry products
- BOPP/PE: Cost-efficient option for bulk food applications
- PET/METPET/PE: High barrier for coffee, spices, and aroma-sensitive SKUs
- PET/AL/PE: Maximum barrier against oxygen, moisture, and light
- Kraft/PET/PE: Natural shelf look with controlled barrier and strong printability
Note: For very heavy packs above 25 kg, woven sack solutions are typically preferred over classic quad-seal geometry. The Quadro format here is optimized for the 1-15 kg segment.
